Things are still going great with my little love bunnies. They amaze me every day with their love for each other. No fights at all still since coming home...just snuggling, grooming each other, and lots of LOVE.

I decided to change Blanco's name to Bubs since I found myself calling him that all the time - or a version of it such as Bubsy, Bubsy-boy, or Bubs-boy.

They enjoyed the summer together in their new home - getting plenty of yard time since I was home most of the time this summer. Now that I am back to school, I make sure that they still get their morning yard time, and then I let them out as soon as I get home from work until the sun goes down. Now that they have the bigger home, I would not feel bad if I could not let them out for any reason, but I always make time for them to come out :)

Some pics...

The layout inside changes all the time - they love that tube from Home Depot

We had to REALLY bunny proof the garden.....
...but someone STILL found a way in!  :)

Lazy summer afternoon...

My husband and his dad put on a roof....
...AND a gutter!

Talula's first visit to our vet - microchip and checkup time

Dr Kim is so so sweet. She does the bunny exams on the floor "because they are prey animals and should not be on the table." LOVE HER!!!!

Love when they both want pets at the same time

In the tube!

"Mom....why does the bunny keep chinning me??"

I made this poster for my classroom

I had been trying to get this mid-yawn shot for awhile! Looks like a scary bunny in this one!

Talula loved when we had to pull up pavers to remove a root

TRUE LOVE!

Everyone loves banana!

Another poster for my classroom

New Home!!!

I am very thankful that my husband is so handy and could MAKE me this amazing home for Blanco and his new buddy. They will be coming home to quite the palace!!

We ran into some trouble here.
Too much space!
A critter could crawl through....back to the drawing board!

"Helper" while Craig tried to solve the roof problem by cutting the overhanging edges off

Phhhew! Problem solved!

Working on the slide out tray

Top living area has a slide out tray

Entrance to landing and ramp to run area. The lower right door has storage underneath.

Just need to add some finishing touches!

Ramp going up to a landing

Ramp still needs some nonslip strips put on and the gaps on left filled.
The ramp is not as steep as it looks in this picture. Its actually less steep than his old home that we bought.
Hurry home Blanco! A beautiful mansion awaits you!

 Some more of finished product....
This setup changes after I see what they use / like / don't like

One side of upstairs
Finished ramp - they didn't want to go up for first 2 days, so I put them up there with some tasty treats. Now they are pros at it and go up and down all day!
